A trip to ikea Alexandra - BESTÅ Cupboard

Was on leave on Friday to pack for CNY.
We got to ikea to search for some cabinet!
After mixing and matching, finally the salesman got the cabinet we wanted.
From a whopping $265 * 2 to a final price of $465 for 1 cabinet.
Proceeded to the restaurant to have a quiet simple lunch before heading to the first floor view more items.

looking at us eating and she is biting her finger too.
Fed her milk and proceed on!

The Q to the cashier was horribly long! so crowded on a Friday evening.
the wait for collection to the items was like 30mins to 45mins.
Upon collecting the items, we were shocked by the size of the items but hb managed to squeezed all in his humble lil car!

After unloading the items, we headed off to Jurong Point for dinner and to collect the MP diapers from Serene. Wanted to have dinner at JP but it was too warm for baby. So we pack home instead.

- Sat -
 Got up to see boxes and boxes of unfixed furniture. HB fixed the cupboard the whole day and was so tired after fixing!


BESTÅ cupboard completed!
End product of it! happy and satisfied!

Krystal's first solid - Rice Cereal

Decided to gave the lil gem her first solid to try out today.
Bought Bellamy's 4mth Organic baby rice after recommendations from the SeptMTB2012 mummies.
It's $6.30 per pack gotten from Agapebabies.

Why did I decide to start her this early?
Well, mother's instinct told me that she needed more den milk and since she's on full FM, its good to give her other form of nutrients beside FM.
Its also to train her early to swallow her food.



We gave her 1 small spoonful of rice cereal mixed with warm water.
The reason, if we added too much FM, she might in future reject her FM.

A small spoonful is to try her out, teach her to swallow the cereal.

So far, she is enjoying her daily lil snacks and will proceed to give her more!

We will be testing out by the 4 days rule to see any allergy and stuffs!
Hope to test out some "Real" food soon!

Krystal's first swim spa

Brought the lil gem to Babies can Swim located at Punggol Plaza.
We bought the deal voucher at only $15 for a trial session swim.
Booked the appointment at 1.30pm and we was almost late for it. Reached around 1pm and the place only have 1 baby swimming in the pool..
Changed the lil one down to her swimpants and she started her lil exercise.
After the exercise, have to put on the neck float before she "jump" to the water!
The moment she is in the water, she swims like a pro! Everyone thought that she is already a "pro" but the real fact is that, it was her very first time.
She swam for almost 15mins and din wan to get out of the water. But as it was her first time, wasnt really recommended to stay in the pool for so long. (and before forgetting, she was already in the big pool instead of the small pool for new starters!)
Called out to her to say time to get out, she swam away.. thats funny.
After carrying her out, she was brought out to have another round of exercise and full body massage.
She cried after knowing its time to go home!

After feeding her with her milk, she was so sleepy after tat.. slept for quite long hrs in the car.

Headed off to MIL place after tat!
Home sweet home at 9plus!
